Hieronder proberen we een antwoord te geven op de meest gestelde vragen in verband met onze barometer-projecten.

TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

Yes, each doctor who wishes to access the feedback report must go through this procedure. It is possible for only one doctor in the practice to do this, but then only he/she can view the feedback. Does each doctor within a group practice need to create a Healthstat account?

I cannot register for the barometers because the practice information gives an error message. The (correct) number of doctors I enter is counted as incorrect. What can I do about this? (Only for CareConnect users)

The total number of doctors entered must be equal to the number of active users in your EMD. There may still be old users active. You can check this by reviewing your user management.


I don't see a button in my EMD to register for the barometers. Why is this?

When using CareConnect, you must switch to Helena Pro to participate in the barometers. Please complete this step before registering your participation again.


Does the creation of a Healthstat account need to be done separately for each barometer?

No, this is not necessary. An account only needs to be created once, which will allow you to view all future barometers that your practice participates in.


I created a Healthstat account some time ago. Unfortunately, my profile is still 'pending'. Why is this?

If your profile is still 'pending' after 2 weeks, something went wrong during the registration. The organization number may be incorrect, causing your profile not to reach the correct approver. You can contact huisartsenbarometers@kuleuven.be to resolve this.


When I try to create an account on the Healthstat website, I can only log in as a citizen after logging in via Itsme. Is this correct?

Indeed. On the Healthstat website, you can only log in as a citizen. This is the same for everyone and is not a problem at all.


My account has been created and validated for some time now, yet I still cannot access the Healthstat website. Why is this?

Your account will only become active when a report is ready for you. For those who subscribed to the diabetes barometer before 28/05/23 or to the antibiotic barometer before 23/10/23, this will be the case in the first half of November '23.

For now, we would like to ask you to indicate this as such. The intention is that in the near future, within the framework of the New Deal, we will adjust the financing types in the collected practice data.

Is registration for participation in the antibiotic barometer also possible for medical homes?

Yes, this is possible.

Is a 'forfaitaire groepspraktijk' automatically a '
wijkgezondheidscentrum'? Because this is the case with us but we are not a 'wijkgezondheidscentrum'.

Is there also a possibility to give/receive feedback on prescriptions at the duty post (wachtpost)?

That's correct! The duty post record systems also develop and provide the Antibiotic Barometer. Consequently, waiting posts can also participate in the Antibiotic Barometer.



PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

What if you are not present in the practice at the time of data collection, for example, due to vacation?

This is not a problem. The process runs automatically in the Cloud. If your software system is not cloud-based, a small buffer period is provided to collect the data a bit later. It is sufficient that one computer has been synchronized once.


What are the requirements to qualify for the integrated practice premium?

For the practice premium, at least one doctor in the practice must activate the button for at least one barometer.

I registered for one of the barometers through my software
provider. How can I be sure that I did everything correctly and am
actually registered?
The data we collect is secured in multiple layers. Therefore, it is currently not possible for us to check which practice is registered
or not. If you have registered through your software provider, this

should be sufficient. We have not had any issues with this in the past.

To what extent is the feedback differentiated between the
different prescribers? It can also vary between doctors in a practice.
It is important to know whether you are personally 'accountable' for
what the practice does on average.

In the report, you cannot differentiate between doctors in the practice; it is a report at the practice level. The intention is to use this as a starting point for discussions within the practice. You can identify the patients concerned with separate queries in the EMD and then further evaluate and possibly adjust the policy in the practice through case discussions.
