With the COVID-19 vaccination barometer, we took a new step in further automating AUDIT and feedback. The AUDIT contained 49 queries that calculatde the COVID-19 vaccination rate in patients with different pathologies. With one click, these 49 figures were calculated and automatically filled in the eForm. Queries were also installed in the EMD, allowing general practitioners to identify patients who have not yet been vaccinated. This provided general practitioners with tools to increase the vaccination rate in their practice through population management.
Thanks to the COVID-19 vaccination barometer, we gained insight into the prevalence of various chronic conditions in a large network of Belgian general practices for the first time. For this barometer, practices could also view their feedback on www.healthstat.be. This project started in April 2021 and has since ended.
